Building Our Future
Springfield is a unique and special place – a community with strong roots, growing opportunities, and tremendous possibilities for the future.
Building for our future means planning thoughtfully for what our residents need: good roads and highways, schools, a much-needed personal care home, housing options for seniors and young families, and a strong local business community. It also means making sure the infrastructure and services are in place to support these needs before we grow beyond our capacity.
I want Springfield to be a place where our young people can afford to build a life, where seniors can remain close to family and community, and where businesses see opportunity to invest and create local jobs. I will work cooperatively with provincial officials to advocate for Springfield’s needs and help move these important priorities forward.
We can welcome new ideas and new opportunities while protecting the qualities that make Springfield such a desirable place to live. With careful planning, responsible investment and a clear vision, we can build a strong future that works for the people who call Springfield home.
